Singers Workbook

There are THREE products in this resource: Singers Workbook (choral), Rhythm Workbook (instrumental) and Supplemental Classroom Slides (both).

Do you need a more structured way to teach basic rhythm and pitch to your singers? The Singers Workbook will help you do that! This resource was made with your beginning ensemble in mind, starting with simple rhythm practice, pitch and sight singing practice and progressing at an appropriate pace. Simple review activities throughout the workbook give your students an opportunity to show what they know! With just a few minutes a day and your ensembles will learn how to become independent music readers.

The Supplemental Classroom Slides are meant to be use in collaboration with your students! They are a teaching tool to use alongside of the workbook. Have individual students take turns completing slides on the board while the rest of the class completes on their personal workbook.

There are lots of opportunity for partner and small group work using the review worksheets and/or add accompaniment tracks during the rhythm practice sessions to add in some fun!

I have included my original Rhythm Workbook at the end of the document for those who prefer this resource without solfege included. It does include a few pages on pitch.

****This resource uses a number counting system, teaches only treble and bass clef and uses solfege (different keys for treble and bass clef). Please keep that in mind before purchase!****
