This year, I’ll be hosting my 2nd Annual Voices in the Middle Conference, a professional learning experience created specifically for middle school chorus teachers.
We had such a great response to last year’s conference and I’m already working behind the scenes to make this year’s even better. But before I announce the date and open registration, I want to hear from YOU. What sessions would make you say, “I need to attend that”?
I’m looking for topics that are practical, relevant and specific to the realities of teaching middle school chorus.
Last year’s topics included:
🎵Classroom Management for the Choir Room
🎵Adding Variety & Fun to Rehearsals
🎵Vocal Technique for Changing Voices
🎵Assessment & Sight-Singing Made Practical
🎵Effective Concert Preparation
🎵What I Learned as a First-Year Choir Teacher
🎵Working with Tenor & Bass Singers
🎵Recruitment + Retention
🎵Reading Session with Alfred Music
What is one session you would love to see at a middle school chorus conference? Find me on facebook and drop your ideas in the comments. I built this conference with middle school chorus teachers in mind and I want your input.
